Welcome
to the Office for Technology Transfer. The
Office for Technology Transfer (OTT) at
the University of Alabama was established in 2006, as a full time
office, to work with innovators to facilitate the transfer of
technologies created at the university to the commercial market place
for public benefit. We are dedicated to assisting faculty, staff, and
students who feel they have something new and useful, which might be
protectable via patent, copyright, etc. OTT also assists in the
preparation of various agreements (for example material transfer,
nondisclosure, STTR, etc.).
